〈トムは真夜中の庭で〉

「交錯」

この物語はトムとハティの2人の友情と時間が主題のファンタジーである。わたしが物語の中で一番好きなシーンが、終盤トムが庭園に行けなくなったあと再びハティと出会ったところで、初めて読んだ時にはストーリーの展開に驚き、2人の再会に感動した。 今回は物語の中心となるトムとハティの2人の時間や人生が交わる様子を練り込み技法を用いて表現した。

This story is a fantasy centered around the friendship between Tom and Hattie, and the theme of time. My favorite scene in the story is when, near the end, Tom is unable to visit the garden but meets Hattie again. When I first read it, I was amazed by the plot's twist and deeply moved by their reunion. This time, I used a kneading technique to express how the lives and times of Tom and Hattie, the two central characters, intersect.
