『アルケミスト』は旅する少年の物語を通して、あらゆる出来事に対する捉え方の重要性を示してくれる。「不思議なのもごとはくさりのように一つずつつながって起こってくるという事だった。」（本文から引用） 全ての物事は繋がっていて、結果として意味のないことは一つもない　 といった大きなテーマのもと、作品を制作した。 過去に1度読み切ることが出来なかった本だが、巡り巡って今読むべきだと本が自分を選んでくれたように思う。

Through the story of a young boy on a journey, The Alchemist illustrates the importance of how we perceive every event. "The strange thing was that everything happened one by one, like a chain." (quote from the text) The central theme of this work is that everything is connected, and as a result, nothing is without meaning. Though I was unable to finish the book the first time I tried, I now feel as though the book has circled back and chosen me to read it at this moment.
