〈完璧な病室〉

「衣を脱ぐ」

土という素材を用いて何かの存在を『想うこと、想われること』をテーマに制作している。ろくろ成形時にできる削り跡を重ねてゆき、降り積もる感情に包まれる空間や情景、時間を意識しながら制作した。 小川さんの文章からは、生や情動、そういった心象風景を静かに感じる。静かな優しさを感じられる小川洋子さんの作品が大好きだ。 そこで、今回の作品は、静かな優しさを意識して制作しました。見た方が何かを想うきっかけとなれば幸いだ。

Using clay as a medium, I create works centered around the theme of "thinking and being thought of" in relation to the existence of something. By layering the marks left during the shaping process on the potter's wheel, I aim to capture the space, scenes, and the passage of time, all enveloped by the emotions that accumulate within the work. From Ogawa's writing, I quietly sense the presence of life and emotion. I love Hiroko Ogawa's works, which evoke a sense of quiet tenderness. With this in mind, I created this piece to embody that same quiet tenderness. I hope it will inspire the viewer to reflect on something.
