〈わたしを離さないで〉

私は一体何者であるのか、自分に問いかけ続ける主人公の存在を、美しく包み込む腕飾を制作した。 この物語を読んでいた際、木々から落ちた花びらが秋の風で運ばれていく景色を目にした。この景色は、主人公が体験する周囲の変化や別れを思い起こさせるようなものだと感じた。風に吹かれ、離ればなれになった花びらのひとつひとつにも、芽生えた時の姿の記憶が残っていてほしいと願いながら制作した。

I created an arm ornament that beautifully encapsulates the existence of the protagonist, who constantly asks herself, "Who am I?" While reading this story, I envisioned petals falling from the trees, carried away by the autumn wind. This image reminded me of the changes and separations the protagonist undergoes. As I worked, I hoped that each petal, blown apart by the wind, would retain the memory of how it looked when it first sprouted.
