社会や高度な文明を築き生きているのは広い宇宙で我々人類だけなのだろうか？という孤独や不安を感じることが私にもよくある。しかし、孤独を感じるからこそ、この星の一員で生きていこうとも考える。本作品中央の鏡が光を反射し、その中を覗いた本人が映される。小さな光の中で我々人類が懸命に生きていることを表現した。

Are we the only ones in the vast universe building societies and advanced civilizations? I often feel the loneliness and anxiety that come with this thought. Yet, it is precisely because of this loneliness that I find myself reflecting on the importance of living as part of this planet. The mirror at the center of this work reflects light, and the person gazing into it is reflected as well. I aimed to express how humanity is doing its best to survive in the small light we have.
