「追憶のゴブレット」

亡き妻への愛を綴った詩集として「レモン哀歌」で有名な本書には、智恵子が生前に仕込んだ梅酒を光太郎が10年越しで見つける「梅酒」という一編が一連の詩の最後に収められている。ひとり味わいながら彼は何を想ったのだろうか。光太郎の価値観や詩から感じた情景をもとに、爽やかな日本酒の香りが広がるラッパ型の酒器を制作した。　

In this book, which is famous for “Lemon Lament” as a collection of poems describing his love for his late wife, there is one poem at the end of the series, “Umeshu (plum wine),” in which Kotaro finds the plum wine that Chieko had brewed before her death over 10 years later. What did he think as he tasted it alone? Based on Kotaro's values and the scenes from the poem, we created a trumpet-shaped sake cup that spreads the aroma of refreshing sake.
