「お誕生日ケーキドーム」

6歳になるひかりと、成美がママになって6歳になる特別な日への祝福を込め、誕生日ケーキを入れるケーキドームを制作した。ひかりと成美の複雑な過去を、光を透かす彫りと蛍手という技法を用いて、レースをモチーフにした模様で表現した。

I created a cake dome to hold a birthday cake as a blessing for Hikari turning 6 years old and for Narumi's special day as a mother. Hikari and Narumi's complicated past was expressed in a pattern with a lace motif, using a technique called “hotarude,” and carving that allows light to pass through.
