「傷ついた心」: 「黒だと思っていたものが白だった、なんて単純なことではなく、たった一色だったと思っていたものがよく見るとじつにいろんな色を秘めていた———。黒もあれば白もある。赤も青もきいろもある。明るい色も暗い色も。きれいな色もみにくい色も。角度次第ではどんな色だって見えてくる。(本文から引用p179)」形状は14歳で自殺した登場人物、小林真の心を、表面は上記の本文から引用した文章から発想を得て表現した。; "It is not as simple as thinking something is black and then discovering it is white. It is not even just about realizing that something I thought was only one color actually hides a multitude of colors. There is black and white, red and blue, yellow, too. Bright colors and dark ones. Beautiful colors and ugly ones. Depending on the angle, any color can emerge." (Quoted from the text, p. 179)
The form was inspired by the mind of the character Makoto Kobayashi, who committed suicide at the age of 14. The surface is a reflection of the quoted text above.
