「日記」: この本は1659年に無人島に漂着したロビンソンが自分の力でなんとか生き抜いていく物語だ。衣服や住居、道具を作り出し、狩りやヤギの飼育、農業をするなど、一人で生き抜くために奮闘する姿が描かれている。　ロビンソンは座礁した船からペン、インク、紙を手に入れ、インクがつづく限り、日記を書き続けた。　私は海水にさらされ、紙は破れ、ボロボロになった日記を想像した。ノートではなく、紙と記述されていたので、製本されていない、紙が積み重なった様子を模刻した。; The book tells the story of Robinson, who washes ashore on a deserted island in 1659 and manages to survive on his own. The book depicts his struggle to survive on his own, creating clothes, shelter, and tools, hunting, raising goats, and farming. 　Robinson obtained pen, ink, and paper from a stranded ship and kept a diary for as long as the ink lasted. I imagined the diary exposed to seawater, the paper torn and tattered. Since it was described as paper and not a notebook, I made a facsimile of the unbound, piled-up paper.
