「安全のために、私たちはあなたの目をつぶして私の耳の中を焼くことに合意した」(本文から引用) 作中の「私」と「あなた」はお互いを支配し合い、2人だけの閉ざされた世界を作ろうと試みる。狂気ともとれる2人の間の引力は、轆轤の回転がもつエネルギーのようであった。崩壊に進んでゆく2人の脆く美しい関係を、用を廃した器の形態に表現した。

“For safety, we agreed to blind your eyes and burn the inside of my ears” (quoted from the text). The "I" and "you" in the text try to create a closed world just for the two of them, exerting power over one another. The gravitational pull between them, which could be seen as madness, is like the energy of a spinning potter’s wheel. The fragile and beautiful relationship between the two, heading toward collapse, is expressed in the form of a disused vessel.
