「白磁椿香炉」

松浦弥太郎はその著書の中で、自然の美を日常生活に取り入れることの大切さについてよく述べている。椿は、強靭さと生命力の象徴だ。私の作品には生命感を宿し、使用者が自然とのつながりを感じられるよう願っている。香炉は日常生活の中で香を焚き、心を静めるための儀式的なひとときを創り出す。このような場面こそ、松浦弥太郎が提唱する「一日一日を丁寧に生きる」という思想に通じるものだ。

In his book, Yataro Matsuura often spoke of the importance of incorporating the beauty of nature into our daily lives. The camellia is a symbol of strength and vitality. I hope that my work is imbued with a sense of life and that the user feels a connection with nature. Incense burners are used in daily life to create ritualistic moments for burning incense and quieting the mind. These occasions are in keeping with the philosophy of “living carefully one day at a time” advocated by Yataro Matsuura.
