陶芸作品において植物のテーマは多くあり、ヒトは古くから植物を観察しそれを表現する。模写や模様化した植物に思いを込めてそれを文化的なシンボルに作りあげてきた。 本書を通して、科学の角度から植物を再認識出来たと思う。この作品は陶磁素材を活用して、植物の感覚とヒトの感覚の交差点の想像を表現した作品だ。

Plants are a common theme in ceramic art, and humans have been observing and expressing them since ancient times. By imbuing plants, either through direct imitation or stylized patterns, we have transformed them into cultural symbols.Through this book, I feel I have gained a new perspective on plants from a scientific angle.This work utilizes ceramic materials to express the intersection of plant and human senses through imagination.
