この本は私が中学2年生の時に違うクラスの担任の先生がお薦めしてくれた思い出深い本だ。私は2年前に陶芸を始めて、正解のない深い森に迷い込んだような気持ちになっている。中学生の頃読んだ本の内容を今徐々に体感していっているようだ。ピアノという箱の中には終わりのない森が広がっていて、しかしそれは探る過程も含めてとても美しいものなのだという思いを込めてこの作品を作った。

This is a memorable book that was recommended to me by my homeroom teacher from another class when I was in the second year of junior high school. Two years ago, I started making ceramics, and I feel as though I have wandered into a deep forest where there are no clear answers. It feels as though I am gradually experiencing the content of the book I read in junior high. I created this work with the thought that inside the box called a piano, there lies an endless forest, and that the process of exploring it, too, is an incredibly beautiful thing.
