空っぽの空。そこにはいつも無限の色彩が広がっている。 いつも歩きながら空を眺めるのが好きで、この本にも興味をそそられた。 私は空の色をテーマに制作を続けているが、この本を読んで空に広がる様々な現象が深く理解できた。空気と水と光で創られる目の前に見えるほんの一つの心象を、この茶碗に込めてみた。また、ちぎり絵の様に色粘土を薄くし茶碗の形に仕立てた。この茶碗で茶を頂くとどんな風景がそこに見えるだろうか。

An empty sky. There are always endless colors there. I always like to look at the sky while walking and this book intrigued me. I have been working on the theme of the sky's colors, and this book gave me a deep understanding of the various phenomena that spread across the sky. I tried to put just one mental image that I can see in front of me, created by air, water, and light, into this bowl. In addition, I thinned colored clay like a chigiri-e and made it into the shape of a tea bowl. What kind of scenery will you see when you drink tea from this tea bowl?
