〈金閣寺〉

「風化する記憶」

『風化する記憶』は『金閣寺』の暴力美学からインスピレーションを得て作られた陶器の蓋物だ。「美しさは破壊と隣り合わせにある」（本文から引用）という言葉のように、金閣の焼失は美と破壊が同時に存在することを象徴している。この作品では、目を閉じて斧で無造作に叩き、力強さと無秩序が生み出した凹みが、暴力と美の交錯を表現している。 　蓋物の表面に刻まれた深い傷跡は、心の葛藤や内面的な暴力を映し出すもので、破壊を通じて新たな美が生まれる過程を示している。この作品は、『金閣寺』の哲学を体現し、暴力と美が一体となる瞬間の美学を追求している。

"Weathering Memories" is a ceramic lidding inspired by the aesthetics of violence in "The Temple of the Golden Pavilion". Like the phrase "beauty is next to destruction" (quoted from the text), the burning of the Golden Pavilion symbolizes the simultaneous existence of beauty and destruction. 　In this work, the artist closed his eyes and struck carelessly with an axe, and the indentations created by the force and disorder express the intersection of violence and beauty. 　The deep scars carved into the surface of the covered object reflect the conflicts of the mind and inner violence, showing the process by which new beauty is created through destruction. This work embodies the philosophy of "The Golden Temple" and pursues the aesthetics of the moment when violence and beauty become one.
